Facebook Makes Changes to How Fan Pages Work
Upon logging in to Facebook today, you may have noticed that your News Feed so normally flooded with tons of people "becoming a fan" of certain pages seems a little different. That's because Facebook is making changes to the way fan pages work.
Starting off for the confused users, the "Become a Fan" button is now a "Like" button. It will still do the same thing, you'll still rather enjoy the topic for that page. The term is just different. You'll also be able to see now on fan pages specifically which of your friends "like" the fan page.
On top of that, Facebook is introducing "Connections" for interests on your profile. Soon when visiting your profile, you'll be prompted to link your interests to fan pages. This way, instead of plainly showing text, your interests are a bit more eye-catching by linking to the corresponding fan pages. You can either link all of them at once, choose them manually, or opt-out of Connections.
