Top 5 Reasons to NOT Use Foursquare
What is Foursquare, some may ask? (If you already know, head on over to the third paragraph.) It's an emerging new social-networking type thing that focuses mainly on sharing your location with friends. Oh but not just friends either, the public. In fact, there's a website called PleaseRobMe.com that tries to prove a point with all this over-sharing by broadcasting all of those public locations in a live feed. The live feed is gone now, but the site still exists.
Foursquare also makes the whole concept into a game. The more you travel and share, you can unlock cool little badges and awards that you can also share with your friends along with tips and tricks for places you visit.
With that, I'd like to put my Top 5 Reasons to NOT Use Foursquare. Bare in mind I've taken minutes; hours; DAYS to come up with this complex list all for the purpose of public awareness.
