Facebook just announced some changes being made to Facebook Events, mainly through the creation process. To make things a little bit simpler, you can now create an event in just one step in the right sidebar of your home page where Events and Birthdays are normally listed by beginning to type in the new "What are you planning?" box. You'll be able to set the time, place, who's invited, and other privacy settings right from that box. You can still also create Events on the Events dashboard of your home page.



Two new privacy settings include a public event for anyone to see and RSVP or a private event that only people you specify/invite can see or respond. Any events that were previously made still have their old settings. The larger Events page includes the ability to add an end time as well as an event photo.
