iPhone OS 4 Beta Reveals Tethering, LED Flash

iPhone OS 4 Beta Reveals Tethering, LED Flash

Internet tethering is actually a feature that was enabled for iPhone back when Apple announced OS 3 last summer. Unfortunately, AT&T was unable to support it and up until now, we have still not heard when it will be supported in the United States. However, in the latest beta of iPhone OS 4.0, beta 4, there seems to be a new option to set up Internet Tethering in Settings by calling AT&T or going to the AT&T website, as reported by MacRumors.

On top of that, the new beta release also reveals deep into the code, as reported by 9to5Mac that there will be LED flash on not just the iPhone but the iPod Touch and iPad. And where there's flash, there's a camera. The code seems to point to a camera coming to both devices and an improved camera coming on the next-generation iPhone. See the code below.
