Apple CEO Steve Jobs Interview Tonight at D8
Tonight begins the annual conference called D (D8 for this year) hosted by All Things Digital and the night begins with an interview with Apple CEO, Steve Jobs. I'd imagine that he'd have quite a few things to say about the iPad, iPhone OS 4, and maybe even drop some hints on the new iPhone. Kara Swisher writes in a blog post some of the topics she might discuss in tonight's interview:
There is much to talk to Jobs about, obviously, including the new iPad, the mobile market and the iPhone, its tense relationship with Google (GOOG) and the next innovations from the Silicon Valley computer icon. The conference/interview begins tonight, June 1st, at 6pm PT or 9pm ET. Unfortunately there is no live webcast, but I know that All Things Digital will be hosting a live blog, as well as Engadget and CNET. They will also be covering other interviews throughout the three days of D8 until June 3rd. Among those being interviewed are Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, and many others. If any major news comes about at the interview, you can be sure Bitts will post more about it tomorrow.
Don't forget, join Bitts during the WWDC keynote -- where it is widely expected Apple will unveil a new iPhone -- for a live reporting of everything announced as well as some informal discussion on the whole event. That's Monday, June 7th at 1pm ET. Click here for more information or to set a reminder.
