Google Voice Now Open for All to Use

Over a year ago, Google released a preview of what would fully be Google Voice. Google Voice is a service that allowed you to have one single phone number that could ring to any of your phones. It also allowed for free text messaging in U.S. and Canada, the ability to listen to voicemail on your computer in an email message, and more. Over one million people are now using Google Voice and today Google is announcing that it is no longer invite-only. Anyone can now sign up for free and start using the service.

If you are already using Google Voice, this news probably won't mean very much to you. But, if you've been wanting Google Voice and never received an invitation, now is your time to join.
