Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Facebook, has finally confirmed after months of speculation that location features will be coming to Facebook. He confirmed this in London to press and the new features will roll out in the near future. This news comes after the rise in popularity of Foursquare and other social networks based entirely around location sharing as well as Twitter's recent addition to add your location to a tweet.

Zuckerberg says that the location platform they are working on is nearly complete and should be implemented soon. There are no other details as of now about any release dates or how specifically the location would work. One would assume it would be similar to Twitter's "Add a location".
