Apple Bluetooth Magic Trackpad Leaked from FCC
This rumor was previously leaked on the morning of WWDC claiming that Apple was preparing to soon release a bluetooth product known possibly as the Magic Trackpad that will be a large surface used for multi-touch gestures on desktop computers such as the iMac. Currently, MacBooks and MacBook Pros do support multi-touch input and the Magic Mouse supports some minimal functionality, but this would probably be available as an optional accessory good for handwriting input as well as for graphic designers that need something more precise than a mouse.
The image seen above on the left was apparently leaked from the FCC and is rumored to have been approved already, so we could be seeing this Magic Trackpad debut very soon. The image to the right was the previously leaked image and what appears to be the front surface. Something tells me that this would be around a $50 or $60 price point seems fair. Apple does however tend to add a little surprise when revealing new products that no one expected, so we'll see what other functionality they may have in store for this "Magic Trackpad" if and when it debuts.
