I kind of had a hunch that the email conversation reported earlier today was fake because there were no screenshots sent in, only text, but now Apple has confirmed that. Fortune has reportedly been told by an Apple spokesman that those emails from Steve Jobs saying "calm down" and "it's just a phone" are indeed fake, and the conversation never happened. However, earlier conversations regarding Steve Jobs saying "avoid holding the phone that way" appear to be real. Rest well; we can all love Steve Jobs again... right?
