New Apple Products: Magic Trackpad, Updated Mac Pro and More!
New Apple gear announced! Now available to costumers is a Magic Trackpad, and updated Mac Pro, an updated iMac, and a 27-inch LED display.

The new trackpad is 80% larger than the one on Macbook Pro, and is made to connect to a desktop computer via bluetooth. This $70 product runs on two AA batteries and Mac OS X v10.6.4 or later.
As for the Mac Pro, new updates to this device are said to make it run up to 50% better than the previous generation. New configurations include:
- one 2.8 GHz quad-core Intel Xeon W3530 processor;
- 3GB of 1066 MHz DDR3 ECC SDRAM memory (expandable up to 16GB)
- ATI Radeon HD 5770 with 1GB of GDDR5 memory
- 1TB Serial ATA 3Gb/s hard drive, 7200 rpm
- two Mini DisplayPorts and one DVI (dual-link) port
The 8-core (dual CPU) build starts at $3499 and features two Xeon E5620 processors and 6GB of RAM. 12-core models start at $4999. This products starts shipping in August!
Next, the iMac. This updated desktop comes in a 21.5 inch ($1199) and 27 inch ($1699) screen.

- 4GB 1333 MHz DDR3 RAM (expandable to 16GB)
- ATI Radeon HD 4670 discrete graphics with 256MB GDDR3 SDRAM

The 21.5-inch model at $1499 is the same as above but uses a 3.2GHz Core i3 processor, ATI Radeon HD 5670 graphics, and has 1TB storage.
27-inch –
- 3.2GHz Intel Core i3
- 2560×1440 LED-backlit IPS display
- 4GB 1333 MHz DDR3 RAM (expandable to 16GB)
- ATI Radeon HD 5670 discrete graphics with 512MB GDDR3
- 1TB Serial ATA hard drive, 7200 rpm

Last, but certainly not least, is the new 27-inch LED Cinema Display- selling for $999. Screen resolution goes up to 2560×1440 (16:9). It has an iSight camera, powered USB hub, and MagSafe connection for your MacBook. The 24-inch and 30-inch screens are still available on Apple.com.
