YouTube has finally announced a very long overdue feature and that is the ability to now upload videos over 10 minutes long to 15 minutes. This is because of their advanced systems that will allow them to better remove any copyrighted material, and because of that it is less likely someone would upload a TV show or movie without them knowing about it and removing it. So 5 extra minutes is here.

On top of that, YouTube will be holding a competition in celebration of the new 15 minute upload limit called "15 Minutes of Fame". Tag any video with "yt15minutes" and explain everything about you to the world. Everything. And upload it. The best videos will be selected to be displayed on the YouTube home page.
