A few weeks ago Apple announced a Mac refresh that included an all new configuration for the Mac Pro: now with twelve processing cores. The configuration includes two 6-core Intel Xeon "Westmere" processors, 6GB memory, 1TB hard drive, and ATI Radeon HD 5770 graphics. The Mac Pro is aimed directly for power users who simply cannot get enough of that power. In fact, it's the fastest and most powerful Mac ever. It starts at $4999 -- with power comes price.
