It's certainly a ton of fun when you innocently like somebody's status update, and then two of your friends decide to have a nice long conversation in the form of comments on that status update and you receive a notification for each and every one, right? Wrong. It's not fun and clearly Facebook is starting to notice that. They are adding a small feature to feed items that you may have liked or commented on called "Unsubscribe". Where you would typically find Comment and Like, there's a new Unsubscribe option as well to unsubscribe from any notifications when there is other activity on that post. This feature is in testing and should be available to everyone soon.
