Microsoft will be holding a large event entitled "Beauty of the Web" on September 15th, where they will formally launch the beta of Internet Explorer 9. As of now, there has only been an IE9 preview available though it's very unstable and does not feature the UI of a modern web browser. Hopefully Microsoft will please us all with a nice user interface in Internet Explorer 9, but more importantly it needs to catch up to today's best browsers such as Chrome, Safari, and Firefox. So far, the preview has looked pretty promising.
