Facebook Adds New Features to Notes
Facebook wrote in a blog post today about some new features that have just been added to their Notes application. Previously, when writing a note, you'd have to know some basics of HTML to format your note. Now, there's a rich text editor that allows for bold, italic, underline, numbered lists, bulleted lists, and quotations. Just with the click of the mouse, your note can be formatted in six different ways.
Plus, you can now tag Pages in your notes that could include celebrities, interests, and businesses. Facebook has also provided some new tools on the left for navigating through different notes. There's Friends' Notes, Pages' Notes, My Notes, My Drafts, or Notes About Me as well as the ability to jump to a specific person. Also, if you are already viewing a note, there's customized options provided for that person's notes below their picture.
All in all, these are some welcome additions to Facebook Notes and the cleaner design makes for a smoother experience.
