Samsung has posted a brief teaser video, or demo if you will, about their upcoming Android tablet device called the Samsung Galaxy Tab. Currently, they have a line of smartphones on each carrier dubbed the Samsung Galaxy S line, so this is clearly a part of that family. The only specifications so far are simply Android 2.2 "Froyo" installed, a 7-inch screen, video calling capabilities (front-facing camera), e-reading, HD movie play, and full web browsing. Also, if you take a video close look in the video you can see Swype being used on the keyboard for faster typing by dragging your finger across each letter. This device is set to debut in Berlin, Germany on September 2, 2010. I certainly hope this will arrive in the U.S. soon after. With a good price point, it can squarely aim right at the Apple iPad.
