AOL is officially acquiring TechCrunch. It will soon be joining the AOL Technology network along with other blogs such as Engadget and The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW). The news was announced this morning at TechCrunch Disrupt by Tim Armstrong. The official press release is here and the video announcement can be found below.
