Microsoft today announced that Microsoft Office 2011 for Mac will ship on October 26th. Two main editions will be present at launch: Home and Student and Home and Business. Word, Excel, PowerPoint will also be sold individually. I find it odd that Microsoft would launch Office for Windows in June and four months later, launch Office for Mac and they are both labeled with different years. Another glorious branding strategy from Microsoft, I suppose.
