The Galaxy S line of smartphones by Samsung is finally complete with the launch of the Samsung Fascinate coming September 9th exclusively on Verizon. The Fascinate will be added to the rest of the Galaxy S smartphones currently available on each major carrier: Captivate on AT&T, Vibrant on T-Mobile, and Epic 4G on Sprint.

The Fascinate doesn't differentiate itself much from the other group. It features a 1GHz Hummingbird processor, 4" AMOLED display, 5MP camera, touch screen keyboard with Swype, and Android 2.1 which will hopefully be upgradeable to Android 2.2 Froyo very soon. If our hopes are high enough, maybe this will finally be the last Android smartphone to be shipped with the older Android 2.1 OS version. The Fascinate will cost $199 after a $100 mail-in rebate, plus considerably pricey monthly plans.
