VentureBeat is reporting that within the last 24 hours, Apple passed the 300,000 application mark in the iOS app store. Launched just a little over two years, ago Apple has clearly succeeded in changing the way we use our phones with this accomplishment. VentureBeat is getting these statistics from Mobclix analytics firm. Even though Apple has not announced this data yet, I'm sure they are anxiously awaiting a formal announcement at this Wednesday's "Back to the Mac" event. Typically, Steve Jobs always has some "updates" to share with the world before the main show. Over the past few days, Apple supposedly approved over 1,000 apps into the app store to reach this goal as quickly as possible.
