Gartner released statistics today showing that Apple's share in the personal computer market is the highest its ever been and just slightly rose above the 10% barrier. Right now, Apple is just under HP, Dell, and Acer in the top PC makers in the United States.

On the other hand, statistics released by IDC today show that Apple may just be slightly higher than Acer -- which would make Apple the third largest personal computer maker in the United States right now. Either way, these are impressive stats for Apple and the highest they've ever been.
