Microsoft posted to their blog this morning some very exciting news for those folks up in Redmond. Tomorrow is one year after Windows 7's public launch and so far Microsoft has sold more than 240 million licenses. This statistic makes Windows 7 the fastest selling operating system in history. In the last 90 days, Windows 7 has sold at a rate of one license every 8.35 seconds. The OS is also on track to pass Windows Vista in U.S. market share by the end of this year, and has already passed Vista worldwide back in August.
