There has been so much drama regarding this for over a year now. It's all about Google Voice and when it would finally come to the iPhone. Apple wouldn't permit it because, among other reasons, it duplicated the functionality of a phone. Of course the web app was still available, but let's face it -- web apps just aren't the same.

So after that the government decided to get involved on the matter and investigate Apple's reasoning after being so quiet for too long. After that drama, once again it remained silent. Suddenly in September, Apple began allowing third-party Google Voice apps into the app store. Now today I'm happy to report Google's official Google Voice app has finally arrived.
