Facebook has made a very small change to the news feed tonight and people are already ranting and raving about it. The main news feed font has been made dramatically smaller. My guess is that it was in an effort to display more content without scrolling, but unfortunately making the text smaller is clearly not the answer.

I personally do not like the change. Posts don't look prominent whatsoever. In fact, each post now has the exact same font size as its comments. Plus, with the light blue box already around comments, the comments on the post now stand out more than the post itself. It looks absurd.

In other news, the home page sidebar headings now have a light blue background which, thanks to the world's now-necessary magnifying glass, has not gone unnoticed.
