Twitter posted to their blog today about five new companies that will now have their media displayed via the right pane in new Twitter, in addition to the current ones for a total of over 20. These five include blip.tv, a video sharing site, Rdio, a music subscription service that would allow you to listen to an embedded song, and Dipdive, a site made for sharing in your creative arts.

But the two most prominent of them all being added tonight are SlideShare and Instagram. SlideShare is a great website that allows you to share PowerPoint presentations, documents, and PDFs to be viewed within their own custom viewer. That viewer will now appear in the right details pane whenever a tweet is clicked with a SlideShare link. Also, my personal favorite is Instagram. It's a very popular iPhone app that allows you to quickly and creatively share a photo. Instagram photos can now be viewed right on Twitter as well.

So there you have it, some quick additions to the details pane on Twitter. Twitter says to expect more content partners to arrive within the next few months.
