All of the Verizon iPhone rumors just continue to keep adding up. This time AT&T is making its own contribution. You can now get the iPhone 3GS on AT&T for just $49 on a two year contract. The smartphone was previously available for $99 on that contract. The iPhone 4 pricing remains the same though -- $199 for 16GB and $299 for 32GB. Of course this may be nothing, but with all Verizon rumors swirling, it's very hard to think so. My guess is that this is an attempt to lock people in a two year contract with AT&T to prevent them from switching to Verizon should the iPhone arrive there. Whatever the reason may be, ultimately this is an excellent deal and one that those on a budget should take advantage of.
