If you've been visiting the website lately (hopefully you have been), you have probably realized the past few weeks have been a bit chaotic in terms of different advertising formats and networks. I've jumped through at least four or five different advertising plans because I wanted to make sure it's going to pay off for both the readers and us in the long run. Well today, I think I finally have it set up. Bitts will use BuySellAds to sell and place ads on our website. I think out of all of the advertising options I've been testing, BuySellAds has the best offering.

As you can see right now there's a big empty block on the top of the page and the right of the page. Sorry if they annoy you -- they annoy me too -- but hopefully they will be filled up quickly. There's been a long history of advertising on Bitts. Early last year, AdSense shut me down twice for absolutely no reason and kept my earnings. Then for a while there was no advertising on Bitts. Now I've decided it's time to bring it back. Starting today, advertising is officially being brought back to the site.

Here's the deal though. Bitts has always been about the reading experience and it always will be. When I browse websites, I don't like multiple ads flashing and bouncing in my face, so that's not going to happen here. There's only two advertisements and they will all be manually approved after being tested for quality and relevance. My goal is to make this a win-win situation for Bitts and for our great readers.
