PocketNow is reporting that Verizon is buying iPhone-related domain names such as "iphoneonverizon.com" and "iphoneforverizon.com". A quick whois search has confirmed this. Verizon Trademark Services, LLC owns both of those domain names with the contact emails being @verizon.com. These domain name acquisitions leave the Verizon iPhone all but confirmed. It's likely that we will be hearing about it within the next month with official words from either Apple or Verizon. Of course this doesn't necessarily mean that the Verizon iPhone is imminent. Verizon could be purchasing these for a later date. With all the rumors swirling though, everything is beginning to add up.
