Facebook has announced today that they are moving their headquarters from Palo Alto, California to Menlo Park, California. They have purchased the old Sun Microsystems campus. It can accommodate up to 3,600 and provide parking for 3,700. It has 11 buildings on 57 acres of property. The new property is just 11 minutes away from the previous.

The decision to move was to increase Facebook's ability to hire new employees. There are currently over 2,000 employees at Facebook, which is double the amount from just one year ago.
