The Motorola Xoom tablet pricing details have been announced today. As expected, the Motorola Xoom 3G (subsidized) will be available on Verizon Wireless for a whopping $800 and that comes with 32GB of storage. A WiFi version has also been announced that will go for $200 less at $600.

To compare, the 32GB WiFi iPad has the same pricing at $600 (both are actually $599 if you want to get technical about it), although the 64GB 3G iPad is $829, which is $30 more than the 3G 32GB Xoom. So for what you get right now, the Xoom is currently a better deal if purchasing the WiFi version but falls short on the 3G version. Sure you can say it has more features than the iPad, but let's keep in mind the iPad 2 is due for an announcement in the near future.

Oddly, no release dates were announced yet for the tablet.
