Today on stage when announcing the iPad 2, Steve Jobs very quickly killed any rumors of an iPad 3 debut this September, as many have been reporting. If you haven't seen my recent post on this, I scoffed at the idea that the iPad 2 would only be a minor update and the real updates would take place in the iPad 3. Well guess what? Today at the keynote, the most prominent slogan was "2011. The year of the iPad 2." He didn't even have to mention an iPad 3, but that quote says it all. 2011 is going to be all about the iPad 2.
