Motorola Xoom Finally Gets Adobe Flash as Promised
It's safe to say that the Motorola Xoom launched as a very half-baked tablet. It hit the market on February 24th with no Flash and no 4G capability, but both were promised to be coming eventually. Plus, Android 3.0 Honeycomb is said to be extremely buggy. Now, it appears Motorola is beginning to fill the voids.
Yesterday, on the same day the iPad launched, Motorola took up a very minute amount of spotlight to announce that Adobe Flash Player 10.2 is finally coming to the Xoom, a few weeks after its initial launch. While everyone is bashing Motorola for this delay, I actually have to praise them a little bit. A few weeks after launch is much less than most were expecting it to take, plus in comparison, Apple announced the white iPhone 4 back in June 2010 and that's still not here.
