Mozilla to Release Firefox 4 on March 22
Well, it took a while, but Firefox 4 is finally here. Mozilla announced today that Firefox 4 will be officially released to the public on March 22nd. As you can imagine (or at least hope), Firefox 4 brings much speedier performance, enhanced security, and some new features -- most of which are playing catch-up with the competition. It's been in testing for a lot longer than it should be, but avid Firefox users will rejoice at its release in less than a week.
Mozilla has been laughably behind the browser competition with Firefox 3.6 with the exception of add-ons, something everyone else has struggled to catch up with although Google is doing fairly well with Chrome. To give yourself a sneak preview of Firefox 4, you might want to download the RC.
