Apple has filed a suit against Samsung claiming that the company's popular Android smartphones and Galaxy Tab tablet line copies Apple's innovation and technology. Apple has stated:

Rather than innovate and develop its own technology and a unique Samsung style for its smart phone products and computer tablets, Samsung chose to copy Apple’s technology, user interface and innovative style in these infringing products.

Like any publicized suit, the statement made is extremely vague. Apple apparently wants an injunction to prevent Samsung from being the little copy-catters that they are in the future and money. Ironically, Samsung is a chip supplier for many Apple products. It looks like Apple clearly doesn't need Samsung enough to keep peace with them.

A little over a year ago, Apple filed a suit for similar reasons against HTC. A verdict has yet to be reached.
