Apple is now officially the world's most valuable brand according to BrandZ's top 100 list. Apple has been stuck right behind Google for a few years but with the newly released list, the company has made it to first place with a worth of approximately $153 billion. Its value has increased an astonishing 84% since last year. One might attribute this immense growth to the amazing popularity of both the iPhone 4 and iPad.

Google now sits unhappily at second place, with a worth of about $113 billion and an overall loss in value of about 2% since last year. Behind Google is IBM, followed by McDonald's and finally Microsoft. Here's the full list.
