Facebook recently invented it's own URL shortener that has been in use when sharing links using mobile Facebook, (m.facebook.com) and they also work when visiting profiles. So if you were to visit facebook.com/username, fb.me/username would also work.

A small article, but expect bigger integration of fb.me. Meanwhile, have some fun typing less and trying the new URLs out.
