Firefox Mobile 1.0 Has Arrived

Firefox Mobile 1.0 Has Arrived

Firefox has released it's own version of Firefox for mobile phones, version 1.0. It has some great features such as Weave Sync, which can sync your bookmarks, history, passwords, etc. across multiple devices. It is also location aware, allowing you to share your location with a website for specific needs without entering a city or zip code. Definitely handy.

Even better, it is the first mobile browser to actually support addons! Already Firefox is focused on full customization to add little bits of functionality to your browsing experience. It's currently only available for the Nokia N900 and N810 phones running the Maemo operating system, but more are coming soon. Visit firefox.com/m on your valid phone to download for free.
