First of all did you know that ESPN was owned by Disney? Anyways, Microsoft is apparently talking with Disney in hushed tones about the ability to possibly get cable TV on XBox 360. But not just cable TV, freakin' ESPN man. Streamed live.

It's nice to see Microsoft really starting to expand their horizons in turning the Xbox 360 into more of a full-on entertainment console like the PS3 instead of just a gaming device. Keep in mind though, if Microsoft and Disney strike a deal, it will probably arrive on your console via subscription service. It's also possible that other channels will later arrive on the XBox platform but ESPN is the main target for now.

PS: When is Microsoft going to create a new version of the XBox? It's been a while now... any thoughts?
