Is the New iPhone Coming June 7 at WWDC?
Apple today announced details for their annual World Wide Developers Conference. This year's conference will take place from June 7th to June 11th this summer in San Francisco. If you have an extra $1600 to shell out, you can go. Oh and you have to be an Apple registered developer. In the past years, Apple has always announced their new iPhones at WWDC and this year doesn't seem to be any exception. This year, however, rumors have surfaced that Apple may also release the new iPhone during WWDC as well.
With the recently leaked iPhone prototype causing much chaos in the tech world, Apple's announcement this year might be strangely similar to what we've already heard. Hopefully, they will still have a few tricks up their sleeve, such as the possibility that the iPhone will be released during WWDC this year. Previously, Apple would announce details of the new iPhone at WWDC's keynote and then release it up to a month later.
June almost certainly the month of this year's new iPhone, but the question is the date. Even AT&T has blocked employees from taking vacations this June. We'll have to wait for WWDC this year.
Plan on Bitts having a live discussion during this year's keynote which is expected to be on June 7th, traditionally at 10am pacific. More details will come about that in the coming weeks.
