Windows Live Messenger Officially Comes to iPhone

Neowin got the first screenshots of Windows Live Messenger for iPhone. Previously, users of the popular instant messaging service had to use third-party apps. Well, finally Microsoft will deliver an official iPhone app. Sources of Neowin also say Microsoft will unveil the next version of Windows Live Messenger as early as tomorrow, with Windows Live Wave 4 coming in June. About a week ago, Bitts posted about Microsoft announcing brief details on Windows Live Wave 4 that would come with many social features. Now, even more news has come about like Live Messenger for iPhone, which according to the screenshots below, will have some social features including Facebook integration.

A private beta is expected to take place in May with the application arriving in June on the app store.
