For lack of a more appropriate term, holy shit! I said it! The world is saying it. Opera Mini has actually been approved into iPhone's app store. You know, I kind of thought that Apple would do this on spite sort of like a "we'll show them" since everyone thought Opera would not be approved into the app store mainly because it would rival Apple's Safari.

Mashable put it has "Hell has frozen over." Is it possible that this is a bigger story than the iPad itself? Wait a minute... Opera doesn't have a lowercase 'I' in it anywhere; can't be. But this is pretty damn huge! We're shocked. Opera has officially announced that Opera Mini for iPhone would be available as a free download in the app store within the next 24 hours. They also brag that because the browser compresses data, that Opera Mini is significantly faster in loading pages.

Nice going, Opera! Can't wait to test it out.
