Russian Hacker Obtains & Sells 1.5 Million Facebook Accounts

A Russian hacker by the name of Kirllos, or at least that's what he calls himself has hacked his way into 1.5 million Facebook accounts. To get technical about it, that's 1 account in every 300 Facebook users, or 0.3% of Facebook accounts. That may seem like a small number, but it's pretty big. For Facebook's large user base of 450 million active accounts, huge hacks like this shouldn't happen.

Kirllos is selling 100 IDs with less than 10 friends for $25 and over 10 friends is $45 for 100. While that may be cheap, you probably shouldn't buy it. Around 700,000 accounts have already been sold. Facebook has not yet responded about the situation.
