Printing Capabilities to Come to iPad

Printing Capabilities to Come to iPad

Steve Jobs' infamous emails have done it again, vaguely revealing another new hidden feature that has now been confirmed will come to the Apple iPad: printing. Currently, there is no support for printing documents or anything else really from the iPad, unless you use a third party application from the App Store. Steve Jobs says this will change... eventually.

A reader of MacRumors apparently wrote in to Steve Jobs, who has been very frequently lately answering emails from eager Apple fanatics asking about certain products and inquiries, asking why the iPad did not have printing capabilities. Steve Jobs' answer? "It will come." Steve Jobs is now known for answering emails with no more than a vague word or two, and this time he stuck to his reputation.

No one knows yet when these printing capabilities will come, but a good assumption would probably be in the next generation iPad, since iPhone OS 4.0 was already revealed last month. One can also assume that it would be wireless printing, opposed to the hassle of hooking up an iPad to a printer.
