Even though Walmart beat the rest of the industry by a week or so, the iPhone 3GS is now officially available for $99 through Apple, AT&T, and Apple authorized resellers. The iPhone 3GS is Apple's third-generation iPhone model that will, in two weeks, run the iOS4 update when its released for iPhone models on June 21st. It was Apple's latest iPhone up until this morning when Apple announced the iPhone 4, their new model with tons of new features including a front facing camera, gorgeous "retina" display, and tons more. The 3GS will only be available in an 8GB flavor and for a two-year contract on AT&T.
