"Twitter Over Capacity" Issue Being Restored
Twitter users this morning may have noticed that Twitter wasn't exactly working. Either you completely saw the fail whale (AKA the "Twitter Over Capacity" page), or at least you had your Twitter home page running but your sidebar had almost all of its main features turned off and the overall site was running slow. Twitter at around 1pm ET today realized these issues and addressed them on their Twitter Status blog.
Their latest update explains that "all site features have been restored" and "error rates are recovering quickly". So worried users, worry no longer. Here's their full report on the issues so far:
