HP has announced that their tablet device known as the HP Slate will no longer be for broad consumer use, instead shifting its focus for enterprises. The HP Slate recently rose from the dead with similar specifications as earlier this year at CES and still running Windows 7. It seems that HP might be pairing Windows 7 tablets up for enterprise use and future webOS tablets for consumers. Still no release date of any sort on the device, but it sure is a disappointment that after all this hype, HP is changing direction.
