Samsung Galaxy S Line Receiving Android 2.2 in September
Samsung has confirmed that their line of Galaxy S handsets will all be receiving Android 2.2 "Froyo" this September, as always, via an OTA update. They announced this somewhat informally via a tweet on their @samsungukmobile account.
The Galaxy S line includes the AT&T Captivate and the T-Mobile Vibrant as of now, with the Verizon Fascinate and the Sprint Epic 4G arriving soon. In my humble opinion, I don't think a 4G phone should be included in a line of 3G phones, but I suppose Samsung has to do what they have to do. Hopefully Samsung will hold through with their promise.
