Android 2.2 "Froyo" will soon be available for the HTC Droid Incredible via an OTA update starting on Wednesday, August 18th. Android 2.2 brings a number of performance improvements across the OS plus tethering, WiFi hotspot capability, wireless sync with your computer, and Adobe Flash 10.1. Add this handset to the HTC EVO 4G, Motorola Droid, Nexus One, and Droid X (coming soon), and Google has made a pretty nice line up of Froyo devices for itself -- not to mention the Droid 2 which comes already preloaded with the OS. Incredible users, be on the look out for this update.
