An official Bing application has just arrived on the Android Market with an odd limitation: it's only available to Verizon subscribers. Yes, that's right, the Bing app is limited to a certain carrier and nobody knows why. Hopefully Microsoft will have something to say about this decision soon.

Aside from that nuisance, Bing brings the similar interface of the iPhone app straight to Android with the ability to search the web, images, movies, maps, locals, news, and directions. You can also search by voice if you wish.  Of course, all this is complimented by Bing's daily photo showcased to you on your smartphone. On Android. On Verizon.
