Engadget just got this nifty invitation from Sony that reads "Please join us as Sony introduces the World's First Internet Television". This event is to be held on October 12th in New York, and Engadget is already guessing that Sony will be the first to introduce a television with Google TV fully integrated. Sony and Google have always seemed to play nice. They even have a partnership to have Google Chrome automatically installed on Sony VAIO laptops. So, it's likely we'll be seeing some sort of Google integration here. Sony may be the first ones to finally close the gap between internet and TV.
